Ibiza guide 2 – places to be

It wasn’t easy to make an article about my favourite spots in Ibiza, since there are so many and I don’t know where to start … I don’t want to make it too complicated by splitting it into beach hotspots and food musts – I just edited a list of my personal highlights from this years Ibiza trip. I know there are far more must-sees but this is just my personal recommendation for you (especially when traveling with kids).
Starting with breakfast, I loved the variety of healthy and vegan cafés on the island. When you’re staying in the old town, there is Passion cafe, a place for all foodies out there with delicious breakfast such as acai bowl, fresh smoothies, avocado breads (very instagramable by the way). For a more easy going breakfast, I loved Touché near Talamanca bay and El retoque. Not too chic but cute staff and very fair pricing. 😉 →

More lovely places for breakfast – where you need to go by car – Giri Café, Wild Beets, Plaisir Ibiza. Speaking about the Giri Café, it’s also a must-go for lunch or even dinner, next to Paloma Café my favourite restaurant on
ibiza. Both, Paloma & Giri are Restaurants with organic and homemade food, served in a natural environment like lemon trees or a big garden!
Make sure to visit both, really, you won’t regret!

When it comes to beach clubs, Ibiza is a real paradise – there are so many hotspots, here are my favorites: Amante, Cotton Beach Club, La Escollera, El Chiringuito, Beach house, Atzaró… wow – this list is gonna be endless, to make it easier, have a look at the links! For travelling with children, El Chiringuito was the most kids – friendly and their rosé is worth a visit anyways. 😉 Speaking about rosé, here’s an overview of some super cool
(dinner) spots: La Brasa (romantic), Casa Colonial, S‘Escalinata (also cool for Drinks), Montesol Restaurant (also a cool Hotel!), Es Xarcu (fish!!!), Es Boldado (view to mystic rock).

For shopping, everything in old town is easy to find, but here are some insider tips, where you need to go by car (but it’s worth it): Galeria Elefante, Sluiz, Tanis, World Family store and of course several markets, such as Las Dalias for example, is pretty cool. Last but not least one last insider tip: Bar Anita, still a legendary place from the hippie age. As you might have noticed, I could go on writing this post forever, Ibiza is such an inspirational island with an outstanding variety of highlight places! Enjoy it and I hope you liked my tips!!! 😉
