My Göteborg Tips
Shopping in Gothenburg is most obviously very Scandinavian, but next to the common cool brands like „Filippa K“, „Hope“ and „Acne“, you can also find some cool vintage fashion at „Beyond Retro“ or a brand new concept store called „Vallgatan12“.
In Gothenburg it’s very hip to get food from one of the many street food vans. Although I really enjoy this cross over cuisine, I can still recommend these stylish and relaxed restaurants: Smörgasbaren for lunch and and Trattoria Averna for dinner.
I was surprised by all the beautiful old buildings, charming canals and trendy food and fashion scenes.
We had the perfect Hotel: The AVALON is located in the heart of the city center. From here, you can walk through the city or take a bike – everything is very close by. Not only was our room stylish and quiet, there was also a beautiful roof top pool and a bar!
