In Paris with Piaget
Last week I was invited by Piaget to visit their high jewellery exhibition ,Sunny Side of Life’ in Paris where I was able to have a look at their new collection. Piaget is famous for it’s brilliant jewellery creations and finest watchmaking – and really proves their mastery again with the beautiful pieces from ‚Sunny Side of Life’.
The exhibition took place at Potocki Mansion and the location was just breathtaking! The area was divided into different colour themes – pink, blue, green – which looked so amazing and you could really feel a special atmosphere. Everywhere you could spot palm trees, flamingos and Yves Piaget roses which fitted perfectly to their new collection because the ‘Sunny Side of Life’ is all about the beautiful things in life. I’m still in love with how coherent the whole decoration was!
The collection itself was inspired by the vibrancy in Palm Springs and you can surely feel the charisma and energy of this collection and see how many creativity lies in every single piece of jewellery. It took two years to complete the new collection and I admire how many thoughts were put into the details. Although it might be just a little thing, as for example the implied shape of a palm tree leaf on the inside of a ring, it’s this little detail which makes the difference. Also characteristic for the collection is that Piaget used many colourful diamonds. Did you know that only one out of 10.000 diamonds are colourful? So, every piece Piaget created is unique and a real rarity!
I am so grateful for the inspiring and beautiful event I got to enjoy, thank you Piaget for another great adventure with you, it’s always a pleasure! ‚Sunny Side of Life’ is vibrant, colourful and full of joy – just as the women for whom it’s designed for. Life is a summer party and you can choose for yourself how long the sunny moments last!
