One of my best friends accompanied me to LA for my big job for H&M. When I didn’t have to work we we spent the majority of our time eating (LA is a foodie’s
paradise) and I want to share my best of (food, fashion and fun) with all of you!
Although fashion is always on my mind (and yes, we will definitely get to it), I have to talk food. As a bit of a foodie (I love eating!), LA‘s food scene delivered in abundance. I savoured my fair share of what the city had to offer and I‘m here to give a few shout outs to my faves.
So much love for The Butcher, The Baker, The Cappuccino Maker for their delicious breakfast and breathtaking coffees. Bursts of color and caffeine in a mug, yes please! I also love Alfred‘s Tea Room, Joan‘s On Third and Urth Cafe for all your brunching and caffeine needs. Oh and we can’t forget about Sprinkle’s cupcake ATM. Such a cute and delicious experience!
I love that eating in LA is anything but boring! This city is so with it and does everything from “health food” to the classics effortlessly! We dined and loved Catch, Zinque and Gracias Madre (shout out to H&M and Sakara Life for the most beautiful, healthy meal ever). But nothing satisfies more than bolo and frose at Chateau Marmont.
Now for the fashion! Walking along Rodeo Drive is a dream. Popping into everything luxe store you love. What can be wrong? But what’s so amazing LA’s fashion scene is the most incredible vintage shops (what goes around comes around or The Real Real or Rebag to name a few)! There’s nothing more satisfying than finding a treasure in a vintage store and LA is full of treasures!
And for pure child like fun, you guys must scoot along the Venice boardwalk! We rented electric scooters and zipped around and laughed (and maybe fell a little causing more laughter)! Oh and for all my fellow selfie lovers, check out all the walls at Melrose Ave for a mini photo shoot.
